About Me...
Alyssa Danielle
Welcome to my website...
I hope you really enjoy this experience. I would like to let you know a little bit about myself.
I am a fashion design student.
I like expressing myself through all kinds of art forms.
I aspire to work in the fashion industry in the downtown Dallas area. I am an animal lover. And my zodiac sign is Taurus.
Little Black Dress
Project design process and lessons
The LBD is an essential part of every woman's wardrobe so of course I wanted to design one of my own. I have always worn LBDs for work and events but none of them made me feel confident. It was either to lose here or too short there.
Then I recently deep dived into the era of 1940-1960s femme fatale Hollywood actresses. And for me that's what it was all about confidence, seduction and body language. I wanted to resemble a Latina femme fatale because that's what I can relate with the most.
At first the design was very simple but new challenges took the lead and I had to improvise.
A feature of my body that I was once insecure of became the statement of the dress, an open back.
